  • Provide an update on Amyloid PET Imaging and its tracers, in particular florbetaben F18 injection (NeuraceqTM), including key attributes, interpretive features, efficacy and safety profiles

  • Review the key findings of the IDEAS (Imaging Dementia – Evidence for Amyloid Scanning) study, including the potential impact of the diagnostic test on patient care management for cognitive impairment

  • Cover current research and development in imaging amyloid and tau, and potential imaging applications for Alzheimer’s Disease and other neurodegenerative disorders


Susan De Santi, Ph.D., is Vice President Medical Affairs, North America and Asia Pacific for Life Molecular Imaging (formerly Piramal Imaging). She has 10 years of industry experience in both clinical development and Medical Affairs dedicated to diagnostic molecular imaging agents in neurology and, more recently, in oncology. Prior to joining industry Susan was an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and the Administrative Director at the Center for Brain Health, at New York University Langone Medical Center and continues to retain an affiliation with that institution. She holds a Ph.D. degree from City University of New York, Speech and Hearing Sciences, with a specialty in neuro-linguistics.
